“The Armor of God” – The enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. “The Armor of God”, more than merely a biblical description of the believers inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory. We have two groups meeting this semester. Melinda Jones will be leading a group on Wednesday nights from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm in the CORE (C-1) and Becky Duncan will be leading a group on Friday mornings from 9:30 am – 11:30 am in Conference Room C. Great Prayers of the Old Testament – This coed Bible study meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 am – 11:30 am in Room 335. Led by Joyce Wyatt, this bible study will discuss how to expand your prayer life and blessings as we study these defining biblical moments. This class will meet from September 20th through December 13th.
Men’s Bible Study – This group meets Thursday mornings from 7:30 am – 8:30 am in Conference Room A. Led by Rob Johnson and Peter Brewer, this men’s Bible study comes together to study biblical concepts that affect every day living for Christian men. Men’s Fellowship and Prayer Group – This men’s group meets Friday mornings from 7:15 am – 8:30 am in Conference Room A. Led by Cliff Helton, this Men’s group comes together to discuss life, family, faith, work, and many more every day topics. This group will occasionally meet at a local eatery for breakfast. “Experiencing God” – This Men’s Bible study will be meeting multiple times a week in order to accomadate everyone’s schedules. Experiencing God is a modern class that has sold millions of copies worldwide and is based on seven Scriptural realities that teach us how to develop a true relationship with the Creator. College Ministry Discipleship – We have two college discipleship groups that meet on the UT Campus at the BCM (Green Room). Dinner is served at each of the these bible studies. Senior Adult Games and Things meets most Thursday mornings at 10am in the FAC Game Room to play cards and games. Afterwards they move to the Fellowship Hall to eat lunch together. Lunch is $5 per person
Cooking with a Mission consists of ladies who share a love for cooking, fellowship and mission. They meet the last Friday of each month from 10am – 12:30pm in the church kitchen. Time is spent cooking a meal which is shared for lunch and then packaged to share for mission – Ronald McDonald House and/or various families that are in need.

Sewing Ministry consists of ladies who share a passion for using their sewing talents. They make lap quilts, veteran quilts, hats, scarves and small pillows for Thompson Cancer Center. Knitting Ministry consists of ladies who share a passion for knitting and crocheting. They make prayer shawls, hats for Thompson Cancer Center and red hats for heart month at local hospitals (for babies). This group meets on Mondays, 1:00 – 3:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall (FH6).
